The following playscript written by Mai Thanh (Ninh Thuan province, Vietnam) provides a powerful encounter between schoolchildren who attempt to use violence as a way of negotiating relationships with each other. The encounter finishes with a positive resolution that teaches students about the power of friendship, kindness and gift-giving.
