HELLO, I'M NATALYA.

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Languages, International Information Technology University, IITU, (Almaty, Kazakhstan). I hold a Ph.D. in Linguistics from al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Kazakhstan). Prior to this position, I served as the Head of Ph.D. Programs Department, Head of Quality Assurance Department and Deputy Director of International Department at Kazakh-British Technical University (Kazakhstan). I have experience in doing research nationally and internationally, and published intensively. As a Fulbright Visiting Scholar, I was doing research entitled, How American Students with Disabilities Are Integrated into Academic and Social Life, at Ball State University, Indiana, USA, in 2010-2011. My professional interests include English Language Teaching (ELT) development, methodology of ELT, and my research interests comprise issues from comparative education, inclusive education, educational policy and reforms in Kazakhstan.
